Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF) Program. The ESTF program provides $7,500 scholarships to qualifying South Carolina students. The South Carolina Department of Education administers the ESTF and has contracted with ClassWallet for programmatic support and to manage the distribution of scholarship funds to participating families. The 2026-2027 student application will open November 1, 2025 for current scholarship students and their siblings. January 15th, 2026 is open for priority groups. February 9th is open for new families.
*Priority Applicants:
If your student meet one or more of the following criteria, they are eligible for early priority in the ESTF application cycle.
Sibling(s) of current ESTF students (can apply starting Nov. 1, 2025)
Children of active duty military (can apply starting Jan. 15, 2026)
Household is at or below 300% of the federal poverty line (can apply starting Jan. 15, 2026)
Student attended public school during the previous school year (2025-26) (can apply starting Jan. 15, 2026)
