PTO

Welcome to the 2024-25 Parent-Teacher Organization ("PTO")! When you join the Marlin family, you automatically become a member of ours. We are thrilled to have you with us for what we are sure will be another amazing year at Lowcountry Preparatory School.

The PTO works tirelessly to support every member of the LPS community, uphold our school's mission, and help ensure that all of our kids have the kind of school they deserve. We also try to have a little fun while we're at it.

We have many PTO events and programs we have slated for the 2024-25 school year. Check out our events under the Events Tab.

We have big plans for this year, but we need your help putting those plans into action. Each PTO event and every PTO program depends on parent volunteers to be successful. Be assured that the PTO has a place for every parent and room for every schedule. So, please check out the available volunteer opportunities to find one (or more!) that is right for you.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible community, and we thank you in advance for your support.

Go Marlins!

Events

  • Help the teachers and staff start the year off right with stocking the workrooms!

  • Charleston Wrap and its parent company JAXCO Industries, Inc. have helped thousands of schools and millions of students raise over $100 million for their organizations through successful school fundraisers.  Charleston Wrap operates out of two 50,000 sq. ft. distribution centers in Walterboro, SC with the help of over 200 seasonal and full-time employees and sales representatives located nation-wide to assist with your next school fundraising campaign.

  • Fall Festival is our new favorite tradition. Typically held on a Saturday in October, Fall Festival has something for everyone. Rides, games, food trucks, a cake walk, a bake sale, and yummy festival favorites (think candy apples, popcorn, funnel cakes, and more) make Fall Festival fun for the whole family. Parent volunteers make this event a success. They help set up and break down the festival; sell tickets, food, & beverages; take pictures; and help with the bake sale.

  • BASH, an acronym for “Building a Scholastic Heritage,” is the school’s largest fundraiser and a favorite long standing tradition of over 29 years. Proceeds from this evening help our school continue its commitment to providing a well-rounded college preparatory education to children from PreK-12th grade.

  • The PTO organizes a variety of events during the week to show our LPS faculty and staff how much we love and appreciate them. Volunteers are needed to help at every stage of the process.
