9th Annual 5K Run for the Kids
The Cross Country Team at LPS supports a local center. The Children's Recovery Center 5K Run /Walk is a fundraiser for the Children's Recovery Center. All proceeds benefit the children of Horry and Georgetown Counties who come to the Children's Recovery Center.
Mark Bayer stated, “ I can not tell say how impressed I am with the (LPS) cross country team's participation in the fundraiser this past weekend. The CRC Childrens Recovery Center works with children of multiple forms of abuse.
The organization offered scholarship running spots for our team and I was hopeful that one or two would show up. As far as I'm aware the entire team showed and ran along with parents and even other students.
I am beyond proud of our Marlins.” -
