  • Student Clubs 
    There are many benefits of participating in school clubs and extracurricular activities while in high school. Some of the benefits include fine tuning communication skills, fostering creative thinking, improving ability to interact with other people, and engaging in activities outside of academics. Lowcountry offers a wide range of clubs and extracurricular activities. Faculty and students worked together to establish clubs of interest. Schedules are developed to allow clubs to meet once or twice a week for a 30-40 minute period. 

    Honor Societies 
    Lowcountry Preparatory School has opportunities for students to earn membership in honor societies. Current honor societies include:

  • The school offers to families a daily aftercare program for students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program hours are 2:45pm - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The program is not available during holidays, school closings, on 1/2 days, or during summer break.

    To register for the program, complete the Aftercare Form and submit it to the main office located in the Lower School.

  • The school offers a variety of lunch options during the week as listed below. Items are delivered daily to the school. Parents pre-order lunches through their Renweb account on specified ordering dates.

    Monday - Pawleys Island Bakery and Smoothie King 

    Tuesday - Chick-Fil-A 

    Wednesday - Teakwoods Restaurant

    Thursday - DeRomas Italian Restaurant

    Friday - Jimmy John's 

    Order Process 
    Online lunch orders can be accessed via RENWEB.  Parents log into their Renweb account and place monthly lunch orders by the "ONLINE ORDERS CLOSE" date.  Payment is processed online at time of order. 

    1) Login to FACTS Family Portal  

    2) Student Information (left side)  

    3) Lunch tab (left side)   

    4) Create Web Order (top left)  

    5) Click your students name– then you will click the date of each order you would like to place.  An itemized list of items that can be ordered for each day will appear after each date is selected. If you have more than one child, it should list them all on the order form individually.  Go through each day and place a “1” (or quantity desired) in the quantity of the item to be ordered for that day.  Continue to order for each day the student will have lunch, until arriving at the bottom of the page.  Please review selections before placing order.   

    6) Click “Order Items”(bottom of the screen).  Make sure to order for the only the dates specified for the ordering period.  

    7) Payment click “SUBMIT”(bottom of the screen)  

    8) The next page will be your confirmation. You will also receive an email confirmation.  

    9) Go back to the lunch calendar at this time and make sure your order is in blue 

    10) If it is RED, your order did not go through, and you will need to go back and finish the payment screen. 

     SCHOOL POLICY:  No lunch refunds, lunch cancellations, or lunch credits. 

     *DHEC will not allow the school to save purchased lunches in the event your child is absent. 

    All food that is brought into the school has to be thrown away per DHEC guidelines at the end of the lunch period. 

  • Summer Research Opportunity for MS and HS students

    Clemson University, in partnership with Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute, has developed a summer research experience for middle and high school students. Students use NASA built radio telescopes, research-grade optical telescopes, and one of the world’s largest archives of astronomical data to conduct independent and group research under the mentorship of astronomers and scientists. They also tour cutting edge astronomy research labs at Clemson University and hear guest speakers share their experiences working in space science.

  • Accommodation Services
    Students may qualify for an accommodation plan if they have a documented disability. Documentation such as an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 plan, and/or psychoeducational reports should be submitted to the School upon enrollment.

    Academic Support
    Faculty are available to provide academic support to students from 3:00pm-3:30pm on school days unless the faculty member is involved in a prior school commitment or has extenuating circumstances. Faculty and students may elect to meet during lunch, study hall, or before school. Students should make arrangements with teachers ahead of time.
