Lowcountry Preparatory School believes that mastery of technology in our daily lives is critical to our students’ success.  From the moment students start their educational journey at Lowcountry Preparatory School, they are encouraged and required to utilize technology on a daily basis.

In the Lower School, teachers often supplement their lessons through the use of Smart Boards and iPads.  Engaged students are learning students and teachers utilize technology whenever appropriate to unlock curiosity, encourage creativity and imagination.

A dedicated computer lab in the library allows students to research topics for various projects, take Accelerated Reader tests for their Resource Center readings, and complete activities for their science program. Students also use iPads in an interactive fashion in the science lab.

In the Middle and Upper Schools, teachers utilize technology on a daily basis in the classroom.  Students are encouraged to bring laptops and tablets to school and employ them in the classroom.   Conducting online research, taking notes, and studying for a test—technology plays an important role in our students’ day.  Students also use technology to keep up with assignments and grades through the use of RenWeb.   In a fast-paced, high-tech world, it is important that we embrace technology in the learning process so that our students are competent and competitive.

Lowcountry Preparatory School is an independent, Judeo-Christian, International Baccalaureate, college preparatory school serving grades K3-12.
